This upcoming season should be an absolute fun one for the Buffalo Bills. There is a lot of optimism and a lot of hype surrounding them in hopes that they can finally capture their first Super Bowl in franchise history. They have a bunch of talent, now it’s just a matter of getting everything to come together at the same time.

Heading into this season, the Bills did a bunch of revamping on the defense and added some extra pieces on offense. Now, they look forward towards the regular season and hopefully make a run at the Super Bowl.

Every season, we see some random stats come up and that maybe fans didn’t expect to see. With that, don’t be surprised to see these weird and bold predictions come true at the conclusion of the 2025 season.

4 weird predictions for Bills ahead of 2025 season

James Cook leads NFL in rushing yards

After getting a brand new contract extension that keeps James Cook in Buffalo the next five years, the Bills’ rushing attack is here to stay and ready to go.

He has rushed for 1,000+ yards the last two seasons and had 16 scores on the ground. He definitely has the chance to become the NFL’s leading rusher if Buffalo can get their ground attack going week in and week out. It won’t be easy, especially considering the other running backs in the league like Saquon Barkley, Derrick Henry, and Bijan Robinson, but it’s not impossible.

Matt Milano leads the Bills in tackles

Unless Matt Milano has an All-Pro level season, this will more than likely be his last season with the Bills. Injuries have come part of his journey recently and it’s really tough to see him in a Bills uniform beyond the 2025 season. After agreeing to a restructured contract earlier this offseason that will make a free agent next offseason, now is the time for him to step up big time and show that he is worth atleast one more contract.

Milano has been fantastic for the Bills over his career. He may not have much left in the tank anymore, but he still has some. If he can stay healthy, he could lead the Bills in tackles.

Joey Bosa leads the Bills in sacks

Buffalo’s best free agent signing may only be with the Bills for a year, just signing a one-year deal. However, Joey Bosa is entering a critical stage of his career. He’s still in his prime and is one a prove-it deal in order to cash in for next offseason whether it’s with Buffalo or somewhere else.

In four of his first six seasons, Bosa had double digit sacks but much like Milano, Bosa has had a bit of a problem with staying on the field due to injuries. If he can lead the Bills in sacks this season, he will set himself up with a nice payday next offseason.

Joshua Palmer leads the Bills in receiving yards

After spending the last four seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers, Joshua Palmer joined the Bills on a three-year deal as a new target for Josh Allen. Palmer still has yet to reach 800+ receiving yards in a season, but with Buffalo having an “everybody eats” offense, Palmer will have the chance to make a great impact for the Bills in his first season with them.
