Week 3 of the NFL season is officially the main focus with Week 2 in the books. After a dominant 30-10 win over the Jets, the Buffalo Bills will kick off this week on Thursday Night Football where they will host the 0-2 Miami Dolphins.

Buffalo has had a comeback win against the Ravens in Week 1, and an easier win against the Jets. For Week 3, the likely chances are that Buffalo takes care of business with ease against an opponent that they have only lost to twice since 2018.

While Buffalo is in their second division matchup, there are two other games involving AFC East teams.

AFC East matchups for Week 3

Miami Dolphins @ Buffalo Bills

Thursday Night Football, 8:15PM - Prime Video

The Bills and Dolphins will meet for the first time this season and quite frankly, the Bills should have no issue getting to 3-0. The Dolphins are dealing with multiple injuries on the offensive line and the defense has been horrible through two weeks.

Miami hasn’t beaten the Bills since 2022 and it’s very doubtful to think that they will pull an upset on the road in a short week.

Pittsburgh Steelers @ New England Patriots

1PM - CBS

After getting their first win of the season against the Dolphins, the Patriots are back at home where they will host Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. It took them until the 4th quarter to close it out against Miami, but New England is now one game behind Buffalo in the standings.

New York Jets @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

1PM - FOX

The Jets looked solid in Week 1, and then they looked really bad in Week 2 against the Bills. After being at home the last two games, they will head down to Florida to take on Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. New York’s defense has a lot of problems that they need to fix, seeing as how they have given up 64 points the last two games.

In addition, the offense led by Justin Fields looked completely lost against Buffalo and Tampa Bay is not a pushover defensive team.
