While there still might be a stinging feeling from the Week 10 loss against the Miami Dolphins, the Buffalo Bills and fans have to now prepare for another Florida team. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be coming to Orchard Park for a 1PM battle in what should be a great matchup where it will be Josh Allen vs. Baker Mayfield.
The Bills last hosted the Bucs back in 2023 where the Bills escaped with a 24-18 win after a failed hail mary attempt by Mayfield, so the Bucs will be looking to correct that history. Allen and Mayfield are 1-1 against each other since entering the league, as Mayfield led the Browns to a win against the Bills back in 2019.
Having this game being a battle featuring two of the best quarterbacks from the 2018 draft is building up excitement for what should be a great game. Then again, anything can happen on the field, just like how Buffalo looked they didn’t want to play last Sunday against the Dolphins.
The Bucs are a better team than the Dolphins, so maybe the Bills will play up to their level and pull off a hard earned win. Or, the Bills could also experience losing again for a second consecutive time and drop to 6-4.
Bills fans won't like latest Week 11 score prediction
Lou Scataglia from NFL Spin Zone predicted that the Buccaneers will pull off a close win against the Bills, in front of Bills Mafia, winning 27-24. Here’s a bit on what Scataglia said:
"Bucs’ QB Baker Mayfield has been the better passer this year, and Tampa has better weapons, so there’s reason to believe that the away team has the advantage here. The Bills can also sometimes get a bit streaky, and it would not shock me if they lost a second game in a row for the second time this season."Lou Scataglia, NFL Spin Zone
I mean, it is difficult to argue with this logic. While Josh Allen has played like an MVP at times, he’s also played not so great. Not to mention, he doesn’t have a true threat at wide reciever. Keon Coleman is struggling, Khalil Shakir has been shaky, and Joshua Palmer hasn’t been active since Week 6.
Let’s not forget either, the Bills more than likely won’t have Dalton Kincaid either due to a hamstring injury. So, unless Allen can turn into Superman or James Cook is able to carry the offense on the ground, Buffalo’s offense is set up to struggle against Tampa Bay.
