Coming out of their Week 3 win against the Los Angeles Chargers, the Buffalo Bills’ injury report was a bit lengthy on Wednesday. There were four players who were listed as not practicing which included Joe Andreessen, Christian Benford, Keon Coleman, and T.J. Sanders. Then Damar Hamlin, DJ Moore, and Deone Walker were all limited.
Thursday's injury report from the Buffalo Bills' PR team showed a trend going into the right direction going into Week 4 this Sunday against the New England Patriots. The Bills only had two players who did not practice. Benford is continuing to heal from a toe injury he sustained against the Chargers, and Sam Franklin did not practice due to personal reasons.
As for everyone else, there was some kind of participation whether it was in a limited or full capacity.
Bills's injury report shows progress heading into Week 4
Ray Davis was a full participant despite being on the list with a hamstring injury. Deone Walker was also a full participant after being limited on Wednesday due to a quad injury.
It's important to note that both DJ Moore and Keon Coleman were listed as limited, but that it's actually an upgrade for Coleman. He didn't practice once going into Week 3 due to an ankle injury, but he still managed to play. Then he missed Wednesday's practice. Moore is still dealing with a shoulder injury, but remains in line to play after playing last Sunday.
Defensive tackle T.J. Sanders made it back onto the practice field in a limited fashion after missing all of last week and Week 3 due to having an appendectomy.
With this week being a divisional matchup for the Bills, it will be important to have as much health as possible and not lose these division games. The last time the Bills hosted the Patriots in Buffalo, Drake Maye and the Patriots walked over them in primetime to hand the Bills their first loss of the season last year. That can't happen again.
Friday's injury report will give fans better idea for Sunday
The Bills have one more practice on Friday so it will give fans a better idea on who should be ready to go, and who could be a true game-time decision. As of right now, it looks like Benford is on his way to not playing as he has missed the last two practices. If that's the case, expect to see a lot of Davison Igbinosun who stepped in for his place last week and was pretty solid in his limited play.
