The Buffalo Bills offense is going into this game much easier than their friends on the other side of the ball. Even with that, they face a challenge against the Seattle Seahawks secondary, led by second-year cornerback Devon Witherspoon and third-year cornerback Tariq Woolen. Buffalo’s passing attack saw an uptick last week with new addition Amari Cooper in the mix. As he got into a rhythm, other players started to see more open targets and produce more, like Keon Coleman. The Bills face a much tougher opponent this week, as Seattle is 4-3 and in first place in the NFC West.

With a great secondary in Seattle, the Bills may try to rely more on the run game this week, which has played very well as of late. With production out of all three running backs, this may be the best Bills rushing attack we’ve seen since the Fred Jackson/CJ Spiller days. Now, let's look at three players on offense who need to shine this week.

Tight end Dalton Kincaid

The Bills came into this season hoping that Dalton Kincaid would be their first option. And in many ways he is, but it hasn’t translated to the stat sheet just yet. He’s been drawing double and triple team coverages throughout most of the season, which has opened up more for guys like Khalil Shakir. There comes to a point in the season where he has to start producing too, however. And with just 269 yards and one touchdown on the season, it has to start happening soon. With Amari Cooper now added to the mix, it’ll take some of the pressure off Kincaid’s shoulders, and some of the blockers as well.

The run game

The Bills have had tremendous success from the run game, getting production out of all three running backs. Ray Davis has burst onto the scene recently with 138 yards and a rushing touchdown in two games. James Cook has played exceptionally well, with 341 yards and five touchdowns on the season. It’s looking like this could be the next great 1-2 punch in Buffalo, and with Seattle ranking as one of the worst run defenses in the league by Fox Sports, Buffalo could take advantage of that this week.

O’Cyrus Torrence/David Edwards

The Bills need both of their guards to play well on Sunday. Leonard Williams, arguably their best defensive lineman, and a guy who has totaled 2.5 sacks and 12 quarterback hits on the season, lines up on both sides of the line. At some point during the game, Buffalo’s guards will have been tasked to block Williams, and it won’t be an easy time for either of them. On the season, neither O'Cyrus Torrence nor David Edwards have allowed a sack yet. Buffalo has got very good play out of both of their guards, and it shouldn't change this week.
