Buffalo Bills fans are hoping that the 2025 season is finally the year that all of the suffering that this organization has gone through comes to an end. The hope of playing in and winning the Super Bowl will be on everyone’s mind once the season starts.

It’s never an easy road but the Bills do have a favorable schedule. Quite frankly, it’s the easiest one that they have in a long time. A lot of their tough opponents come to Orchard Park and the furthest that they will travel is to Houston and that isn’t until the second half of the season for a Thursday Night Football matchup against the Texans.

Throughout their 2025 season journey, the Bills could be facing a lot of former players that have worn a Bills jersey. Whether they were just on the practice squad and only played in the preseason or were a star, the Bills could be going up against a lot of familiar and unfamiliar faces.

Bills could be facing a lot of familiar (and not-so familiar) faces in 2025

As you can see, wide receiver Stefon Diggs is the most notable player on this list. After being traded to the Houston Texans last offseason, he joined the New England Patriots on a three-year deal to catch passes from Drake Maye. Diggs was a key factor in helping the Bills become a powerhouse team in 2020 and has been dominant since, but tension in the last two seasons ended up splitting both sides from each other.

Another player that became a big fan-favorite last season in Buffalo was wideout Mack Hollins who also joined the Patriots this offseason. He had a lot of respect from his teammates, coaches, and Bills Mafia because of his personality and leadership he brought each and every week. Him joining the Patriots was a bit of a gut punch.

Then you have former Bills like Zack Moss, Tyrod Taylor, Robert Woods, Leonard Floyd and Tyrel Dodson who had some sort of impact with the Bills at one point. The rest of the names didn’t make much of an impact throughout their tenure in Buffalo.
