The Buffalo Bills have Joe Brady and his offensive mind running the show now. That should have an impact on the team, but there are still some holes on this team that could use reinforcements.

And receiver is one of them. They traded for D.J. Moore, and he now joins Khalil Shakir as the clear- cut 1-2 punch at receiver. The third spot is up for grabs, with guys like Joshua Palmer, Keon Coleman, and Skyler Bell, but comments from free agent Stefon Diggs should open the door regarding a reunion.

On his YouTube Channel, Diggs made it known that he thinks he's better than any other wide receiver two in the NFL.

"My opinion, I can compete with anybody... You can't name a No. 2 better than me."

And while the relationship between Diggs and Buffalo didn't end on the best note back in 2023, the door shouldn't be closed on a reunion.

Stefon Diggs' latest stance should have Bills reunion talk heating up

He was upset with his target share and usage, which led to some issues with Josh Allen. Buffalo ultimately traded him to the Houston Texans in 2024. The past two seasons, Diggs spent with the Texans and Patriots, but with him sitting on the free agent market, Buffalo should really consider a reunion.

They felt like they needed more juice in the receiver room, which is why they made the move for Moore. With the hope that he can become a WR1 for this offense, the idea of adding a weapon like Diggs back into the fold wouldn't be a bad idea.

Just one year after tearing his ACL, Diggs suited up in 17 games for New England. In those outings, he had 85 catches (102 targets) for 1,013 receiving yards and four touchdowns. He was the go-to option in the aerial attack and showed that he can still be an effective receiver in this league.

The idea of him joining a group headlined by Moore and Shakir would only make that unit more dynamic. And it's not like he didn't have plenty of success in upstate New York. In 66 games with Buffalo, Diggs had 445 receptions for 5,372 receiving yards and 37 touchdowns. In all four seasons with the Bills, he finished with 100-plus receptions, 1,100-plus receiving yards, and eight-plus touchdowns.

There's no secret that he and Allen had a rapport on the field, and if he re-joined the team, he would elevate the offense. Based on his comments, he is ready to embrace a WR2 role, and that would be outstanding in Buffalo. The relationship fell apart in 2023 due to the target share of a WR1, but that wouldn't be a problem this time around.

It's not easy to find a 1,000-yard receiver, and with Diggs still on the open market, these comments should open the door to a possible reunion with the Bills before training camp begins.
