We are getting closer to the NFL trade deadline, which is set for 4pm on Tuesday, November 4th. Buffalo Bills fans are hoping that Brandon Beane will make a move to improve the roster from what it has shown this season. Even at 5-2, the Bills have lots of room to improve if they want to make a serious run at the Super Bowl.

However, depending on how the Bills may feel about the rest of the roster, they may not make any moves. At the same time, it would upset a lot of fans.

The Bills will be without star defensive tackle Ed Oliver for the foreseeable future due to a torn bicep from Buffalo’s Week 8 win over the Panthers. Now, the Bills will rely on guys like Larry Ogunjobi and Deone Walker to step up in his absence. At the same time, the Bills may need a little more help due to DaQuan Jones dealing with a calf injury that he sustained right before their Week 6 game, and T.J. Sanders being on the IR.

So, if Beane wanted to make a move to boost this defensive line, Brad Gagnon from Bleacher Report listed a solid trade candidate that the Bills could pull off to improve the defensive line.

Titans' DT Sebastian Joseph-Day would provide immediate help for Bills

Here's a bit on what Gagnon said about the Bills potentially acquiring Joseph-Day:

"A biceps injury has Ed Oliver down long-term, leaving the Bills with a major need up front on defense. Joseph-Day is an experienced option with an expiring contract on a team that should be selling a player his age (30). Buffalo would have to do some work to stay under the cap, but his $6.5 million 2025 cap hit is workable. "

The Titans should be looking to sell and try to build around rookie quarterback Cam Ward for the future, so it would make complete sense for the Bills to pick up the phone and call the Titans to see what the price would be to get Joseph-Day.

Tennessee would get a future draft pick to use for their rebuild and the Bills would get immediate short-term help for their defense from a proven veteran.
