The Buffalo Bills will be looking for their sixth straight AFC East Title in 2025, and the path to claiming it looks surprisingly easy. Let's look at the Bills schedule, and predict every game before the regular season begins.
One final game-by-game prediction for Bills in 2025
Week 1: vs. Baltimore Ravens
The Bills start the season with a huge game against the Ravens, who they defeated 27-25 in the AFC divisional round last winter. Lamar Jackson, the 2023 MVP, will come to town with a chip on his shoulder, but it will not be enough. Josh Allen will prove why he won the MVP over Jackson in 2024, and the Bills will squeak out with a huge victory in Week 1.
Record: 1-0
Week 2: @ New York Jets
The Jets have a new head coach and brought in Justin Fields at quarterback. The Bills have had trouble in New York before, but should defeat the Jets, who seem destined for another losing season in 2025.
Record: 2-0
Week 3: vs. Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins have been the Bills' little brother in the AFC East for the past few seasons, even reaching the playoffs as a wild card team. Buffalo will continue to beat the Dolphins with a Week 3 win in Buffalo. Expect the Bills Mafia to show up and a play a big part in this win, as the Bills seize early control of the division.
Record: 3-0
Week 4: vs. New Orleans Saints
This may be Buffalo's easiest game all season. The Saints have no answers at quarterback, and aside from veteran running back Alvin Kamara, the offense has almost no proven NFL talent. Look for the Bills defense to dominate New Orleans, and play a nearly flawless game. They advance to 4-0.
Record: 4-0
Week 5: vs. New England Patriots
In Week 5, the Patriots come to town. This will Buffalo's third straight home game, and the Bills should be comfortable. New England should improve in 2025, but they will not take down the Bills on the road. Buffalo advances to 5-0 with another win.
Record: 5-0
Week 6: @ Atlanta Falcons
The Bills are bound to lose eventually, and it will likely come at the hands of an inferior team. The Falcons are scrappy, and the Bills might take them lightly. Atlanta will make a bold statement after their bye week with a win over the Bills, who are looking ahead to their own bye week.
Record: 5-1
Week 7: Bye Week
Week 8: @ Carolina Panthers
After an embarrassment at the hands of the Falcons, the Bills will rest up and get healthy during their Week 7 bye. They'll next head to Carolina, where they will have their way with a vastly inferior Panthers team. Bills advance to 6-1.
Record: 6-1
Week 9: vs. Kansas City Chiefs
The Bills have owned the Chiefs in the regular season for the past few years. They'll continue to do so, with Josh Allen and the Bills getting another huge win at home. With a 7-1 record and wins over Baltimore and Kansas City, the Bills will be in the lead position for the No. 1 seed.
Record: 7-1
Week 10: @ Miami Dolphins
Coming off the emotional high of beating the Chiefs, the Bills will slip up on the road against a Dolphins opponent that has proved difficult to beat in recent years. The Dolphins hand the Bills their second loss of the season in an upset.
Record: 7-2
Week 11: vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Bills will take on a difficult squad in Tampa Bay, led by the always scrappy Baker Mayfield. Expect this game to be close, but the Bills to come out with a win in the end. They advance to 8-2, still controlling the AFC East.
Record: 8-2
Week 12: @ Houston Texans
Houston will be another difficult matchup for the Bills, losing to them 23-20 last year on the road in Houston. Once again on the road, Buffalo will get revenge in a narrow win. At 9-2, the Bills will be the clear favorites in the AFC by this point.
Record: 9-2
Week 13: @ Pittsburgh Steelers
Once again, Buffalo will slip up on the road, this time against the Steelers. Aaron Rodgers will be making a playoff push, and the Steelers defense will shut down Josh Allen. Buffalo drops a close one, and falls to 9-3.
Record: 9-3
Week 14: vs. Cincinnati Bengals
This game has a chance to be electric. If Joe Burrow and the Bengals take a step forward this season, they could be one of the NFL's elite offenses. But Josh Allen is elite as well, and will lead the Bills to another narrow victory in a high scoring game. Bills advance to 10-3, and defeat their final opponent blocking their path to the AFC No. 1 seed.
Record: 10-3
Week 15: @ New England Patriots
The Bills will have a chance to clinch the AFC East with a win over the Patriots in Week 15. However, a scrappy Patriots team fighting to make the playoffs will keep themselves alive for another week, handing the Bills their fourth loss of the season. At this point, Drake Maye will be looking like the No. 3 overall pick, and playing well.
Record: 10-4
Week 16: @ Cleveland Browns
Buffalo's final road game is against the Browns. It's hard to predict which of the Browns quarterbacks will be starting by Week 16, but none of them should give the Bills defense any trouble. Buffalo cruises to their 11th win of the season, and clinches their sixth straight AFC East Title.
Record: 11-4
Week 17: vs. Philadelphia Eagles
Tied with the Chiefs for the No. 1 seed, the Bills will need to defeat the Eagles to stay ahead of their foes in Kansas City. They'll pull off a narrow win over the Super Bowl champs, with Josh Allen outperforming Jalen Hurts, and James Cook having a great game on the ground. Buffalo moves to 12-4 heading into their final game.
Record: 12-4
Week 18: vs. New York Jets
The Bills will seal the deal with a win at home over the Jets in Week 18. Buffalo clinches the AFC's No. 1 seed and home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
Record: 13-4
