Kyle Brandt from Good Morning Football has always been an honorary member of Bills Mafia. Having shown major support since 2020, Brandt has attended Bills games and has done countless segments about Buffalo and the fans. One of his most infamous moments in recent memory regarding the Bills was the 2022 NFL Draft where Brandt had the opportunity to announce Terrel Bernard as Buffalo’s third round pick.

He capped off the Bernard selection by biting a chicken wing on stage to make it a memorable moment. Brandt is beloved by Bills Mafia and is still showing faith in quarterback Josh Allen.

Despite Brandt showing love for the Bills year in and year out, for the first time in a long time, Brandt is going against Buffalo in his recent Super Bowl prediction. Even though Brandt has high hopes for the Bills every year, he has the Bills facing a major heartbreak in February in the Super Bowl by losing to the Detroit Lions.

Brandt discussed how he still has love for Buffalo, but it was the Lions’ time to shine, “Western New York, I love you. You will have your day, but this is the Lions’ year”. This is a big gut punch prediction by Brandt heading into the season.

A Lions vs. Bills Super Bowl would be phenomenal

This would be a dream matchup for the NFL. Two franchises that have never won a Super Bowl with one guaranteeing to leave with their first. It is safe to say that the whole nation would be watching because of the excitement. We were somewhat close to this matchup last postseason, until the Bills lost in the wild card round to the Kansas City Chiefs. Detroit made it to the NFC championship game and were one quarter away from making it to the big stage.

If this prediction were to ever come true, Bills fans would have their hearts broken. Not only would they lose, they would lose to a team who will have won their first Super Bowl. Buffalo’s Super Bowl window isn’t as wide open as it has been the past four seasons, but it is not closed yet.

Buffalo’s journey to the Super Bowl kicks off at home this weekend when they host the Arizona Cardinals for a 1PM EST showdown.
