Running Back

The next two positions may not be as pressing but will still need to be addressed at some point this offseason. The first is the running back position as the Bills only have James Cook from last year's roster still under contract and the only other running back is Darrynton Evans, who signed a futures contract after the season.

The Bills released Nyheim Hines last week with Latavius Murray and Ty Johnson set to be free agents. It wouldn't be surprising to see Johnson return with the way he finished and if that does happen then the Bills might wait until Day 3 of the NFL Draft to add that third running back.

Interior Offensive Line

The Buffalo Bills had a chance to bring back every starter on the offensive line from last year's team but had to make some tough roster decisions. One of those tough decisions was releasing Mitch Morse, who has been a starting center for a few years now.

The depth along the interior offensive line also took a hit with the trade of Ryan Bates and the plan appears to have Connor McGovern start at center and David Edwards step in at left guard. If that is the case, the Bills should still look to add depth here and ideally a player who can backup McGovern at center.
