Updated roster needs for Buffalo Bills before 2024 free agency

Among all the positions, defensive tackle might be the biggest concern because the Buffalo Bills only have two players under contract at the position. Those are Ed Oliver, who had a breakout season last year, and Eli Ankou, who has been good in spots during his time in Buffalo.

Unfortunately, that is all the Bills have as DaQuan Jones, Jordan Phillips, Poona Ford, Tim Settle, and Linval Joseph are all set to be free agents. If the team wants to bring back any of these, Jones should be the priority as he has played very well over the past two seasons in Buffalo.

However, depth will also be a concern and re-signing Jordan Phillips or Poona Ford could make sense. It would not be surprising to see this be a priority for the front office early in free agency.
