7. Jim Kelly, Quarterback (1983 Draft)

Many Bills fans are probably surprised at this ranking, but from where Jim Kelly was selected in the draft and compared to what he's done compared to other players on this list, this is probably the best position to put him.

Kelly has been the main man that people would think of when it came to the Bills' Super Bowl runs in the early 90s, and for good reason.

Kelly at the time was the franchise's best quarterback by a long shot. He's a fantastic pocket passer with a good arm and a consistently accurate passer. Although, there was some tension between Kelly and the Bills organization, as he did not want to play for Buffalo and decided to sign with the USFL Houston Gamblers until the USFL folded in 1986. Kelly would play his first snap as a Buffalo Bill at 26 years old.

The wait would be worth it though, as Kelly would help lead a powerhouse offense in the early 90's, leading the Bills to four straight Super Bowls from 1990-1993.

Then again, fans will argue that there was also a better quarterback on the board, as Kelly was drafted 13 picks before Dan Marino, who did have a much more impressive career statistically than Kelly. Although I'm sure fans would prefer a quarterback who leads their team to more Super Bowls rather than lighting up the stat sheet.

Kelly was also selected to five Pro Bowls and was second in MVP voting in 1991, behind his fellow teammate Thurman Thomas, which overall earned him a spot in the Hall of Fame.
