Buffalo Bills fans should be excited that the preseason is coming to an end this weekend. We are just four quarters away from getting ready for Week 1 of the regular season. Before the Bills start to prepare for the Arizona Cardinals, they will need to play out their final preseason game against the Carolina Panthers. Buffalo won their first game of the preseason last weekend in Pittsburgh without scoring a touchdown.

As a matter of fact, the Bills have not been able to punch the ball into the endzone once this preseason. Even though winning preseason games is not the main purpose, it would still be nice for the offense to come alive and give the fans something fun to cheer for. If you are a defensive-minded fan and enjoy a snoozefest-type of game, then last week’s game against the Steelers was a dream for you.

When it comes to the Buffalo offense, we have not been able to see various players make a great impact because of how limited the offense has been throughout the preseason. With bad quarterback play from guys like Mitch Trubisky and Shane Buechele, the Bills have not been able to show off any offensive talent that they have across the board.

One player that was rising in training camp was wide receiver Tyrell Shavers, who could lose out on a roster spot because of how the offense has been operating the last two weeks. In two games, Shavers has been targeted just three times and has two catches for 13 yards.

That is not great at all for a guy that is not a lock for the roster. Is he to blame for this production? Not necessarily, but he needs to show that he can still stand out no matter how the quarterback plays.

It all comes down to Saturday's game for Tyrell Shavers

This Saturday’s game could become Shavers last game in a Bills jersey and if there is any chance that he makes it onto the roster for the regular season, he will need to be dynamite against the defense. Time is running out for Shavers and unless he is the best player on the field for both teams, he could lose a roster spot that was once becoming a reality for him.
