Bills defense shows up for four quarters, hold the Chiefs to 17 or less points
It's been an incredibly odd year for the Bills, where they rank in the top five or ten in multiple offensive and defensive categories yet has only six wins. The offense seemed to be a massive struggle at times; however, since Joe Brady was elevated to offensive coordinator, they've suddenly come alive. On the flip side though, the defense seems to play great in the first half but disappears in the second half.
For whatever reason that may be, I think this is the week the defense shows up for four quarters. New defensive additions Rasul Douglas and Linval Joseph are getting more comfortable, particularly Joseph, whose play in the middle of the defensive line is starting to shine. Besides, the Chiefs are averaging just under 23 points per game, so if the Bills pass rush can get after Mahomes and no Pacheco, I think the Bills can hold them to 17 or fewer points.
