The Buffalo Bills passing game is going to look very different in 2024 compared to the prior seasons. This offseason, the Bills saw Gabe Davis leave in free agency then a few weeks prior to the 2024 NFL Draft, the front office would trade Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans.

These two players alone combined for 241 targets which was close to 45% of all the targets the Bills had last season. When looking at the roster, there is not one clear answer for the Bills to replace Diggs or Davis, and this season Josh Allen is almost certain to spread the ball around more.

However, as much as it will be a team effort there will clearly be a first option that Allen leans on in key situations. Let's rank the options currently on the roster of who will emerge as the leading pass catcher in 2024.

6. Chase Claypool

Chase Claypool is a long shot in this category and he might not even make the 53-man roster. However, there is no denying the talent Claypool showed early in his career when he had over 800 receiving yards in each of the first two seasons and 11 total receiving touchdowns.

The former second-round pick has a lot to prove after two seasons being almost non-existent between his time with the Steelers, Bears, and Dolphins. He has entered this offseason with a different mindset and if it comes together for him, Claypool may not only make the team but be a big part of the offense.
