#2-Tre'Davious White, 2017, Pick #27

2017, the first year of Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane. Although Beane was not at the time the GM of the Bills, McDermott was and he was the main reason for this 1st pick of this regime. Tre'Davious had a phenomenal rookie season, collecting a total of 69 tackles, 53 solo, 1 forced fumble, 2 fumble recoveries, and 4 INTs.

Tre'Davious White would continue to play at a high level for the Bills, including the 2019 season which saw the most INTs in his career (six) and arguably should have been the defensive player of the year that year, losing to previous Bills CB and at that time Patriot Stephon Gilmore. The 2021 season started strong for White until the fateful Thanksgiving game against the Saints where he tore his ACL, his 1st major injury of his career.

White would miss the rest of that season and half of the next season until Thanksgiving of the following year. He started off the rest of that season slow, but there were flashes of the old Tre in 2022. In 2023, it looked like he was back to the same old Tre from an elite CB we've always known and enjoyed, until week 4 when he tore his Achilles against the Dolphins.

Unfortunately, on March 14th, 2024, his time in Buffalo came to an end when he was cut by the Bills, and signed to the Rams shortly thereafter. Even though Tre has been an elite and All-Pro CB, these past 2 injuries have hampered any return to form. For this, I give Tre an A-.
