1.) Rhamondre Stevenson - Weeks 16 & 18
In Stevenson’s defense, it is hard to be a productive player in one of the worst offensive units. Last season, Stevenson rushed for just 619 yards and 4 touchdowns which is just a smidge better than his rookie season.
In four career games against the Bills, Stevenson has rushed for only as much as 78 yards and still has yet to get a touchdown in any capacity against them. New England is in complete rebuilding mode with them drafting their new rookie quarterback in Drake Maye so it is going to be a long season for Patriots fans. With that, it could very well be another long year for Stevenson as well.
It is very simple for the Bills, keep limiting Stevenson the way he has been in every meeting since joining the Patriots. New England is going to be more focused on playing hard-nosed defense and helping the development of Maye, whether he starts at all this year or not. The Patriots could easily be running the ball a lot this season, but Stevenson does not appear as a threat as he once was in 2022.
