Up until this past offseason, the Buffalo Bills have usually been aggressive in free agency to bring in the best talent they can. After the Bills lost once again to the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs, Buffalo was going to have to make some tough decisions going into free agency. They had been affected by multiple injuries to players across the board and their salary cap was a major issue. In order for the Bills to fix their money issue, Brandon Beane had to make some unpopular but necessary changes.

Beane started it off by releasing players such as Tre’Davious White, Jordan Poyer, and Mitch Morse. The Bills would then let Jordan Poyer and Gabe Davis walk in free agency. Then to top it all off, the Bills made the shocking move to trade star wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the up-and-coming Houston Texans. The Bills are going to look like a much different football team in 2024, but there are still plenty of reasons why Bills fans should be excited for next season.

While it looks like the Bills lost a lot more than they gained, that simply is not true. They got younger in various areas and managed to get some potential high-level talent. In addition, they also created stability at various positions on the roster.
