Can Josh Allen do what he's always done against the Miami Dolphins?

Week 2 for the Buffalo Bills is coming fast and furiously on a short week, and it's coming against an AFC East division rival. Luckily for the Bills, Josh Allen was cleared to play Thursday night after suffering a injury to his left hand this past Sunday. While Buffalo came away with a win, the Miami Dolphins also recorded a win Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars themselves.

There is a lot on the line for both these franchises in this game on Thursday. Not just for the division, but also the end of year standings. Both of these teams cannot afford to lose a conference game, much less a divisional game. Last year in 2023, the Dolphins were leading the division with three games left, but the Buffalo Bills stole the division back in Week 18 and swept the Dolphins.

This led to a fourth consecutive AFC East title and the number two seed in the playoffs. The big reason why the Bills defeated the Dolphins and usually do every year is because of the man on the Buffalo Bills wearing #17, Joshua Patrick Allen. With the new look Bills offense Sunday against the Cardinals, Allen put up very impressive numbers. He could very well do that again this week against the Dolphins.

As mentioned, Allen usually plays very well against the Dolphins. In the 12 games against the Dolphins, Josh Allen has thrown for 3,363 yards, has 33 touchdowns and only 7 interceptions. That is an impressive stat line.

The Dolphins did win their game on Sunday against the Jaguars, but not very convincingly. It came down to a walk-off field goal to win that game with a score of 20-17. The Jaguars are not the Bills though, and I expect the Bills to get more production on offense than the Jaguars. Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills are arguably a better team than the Jacksonville Jaguars and Trevor Lawrence.

Josh Allen Prediction: 24/33, 319 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns. 8 rush attempts, 61 rushing yards, 1 rushing touchdown.
