Buffalo Bills Tight Ends

Starters: Dawson Knox, Dalton Kincaid
Backups: Quintin Morris, Zach Davidson

The tight end position was another position that the Buffalo Bills almost certainly was going to address during the 2023 NFL Draft. However, it was surprising to see them use their first round pick after trading ahead of the Dallas Cowboys to select Dalton Kincaid

Dalton Kincaid is arguably the best tight end in this year's draft and he certainly changes the dynamic of the offense and what Ken Dorsey is able to call. The Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator can now utilize more two tight end sets that could force defenses to play more of their base defense and this in turn will create mismatches.

The reason it creates mismatches is that Kincaid is very athletic and an excellent pass catcher to the point that he could be used as a big slot receiver. This is where the mismatches will come into play because linebackers are going to have a tough time staying with the rookie.

For now, Dawson Knox is the primary starter but it based on the talent of Kincaid it wouldn't be surprising to see him pass him in terms of snaps sooner rather than later.
