It's never too early to talk about potential NFL prospects within the next year's draft, as a player's trend throughout the coming seasons is crucial to look out for throughout their college career. This specific player has been trending upward since his first year in college.

Trevor Sikkema from Pro Football Focus created a list of one college player that each NFL team should keep an eye on for the 2025 draft and suggested that wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan should be on the Buffalo Bills' radar. This indicates that the Bills would still be desperate for a receiver, even after the they drafted Keon Coleman from this year's Draft.

How likely are the Bills to draft McMillan?

Realistically, if the Bills perform how they usually do compared to the past four seasons, they will not be anywhere near the position to be able to draft McMillan. The only scenarios where he may be on the board are if McMillan has a bad season, if the Bills somehow severely underperform, or if the Bills trade a haul for them to move down a few spots, it wouldn't be very likely.

Even if the Bills have McMillan on the board, they would probably go with edge rusher, cornerback, or offensive line. The Bills' edge rusher position has been average but could be a lot better. Cornerback Rasul Douglas is in the final year of his contract, so there's no guarantee that he'll sign with the Bills again, and the same for over five offensive linemen.

How good of a player is McMillan?

However, McMillan would be a great addition to the Bills' offense if he were to land there and be a great compliment to Coleman as well. Both receivers have fantastic hands and are great jump-ball receivers. They both also have great agility for their size and can break tackles.

McMillan was gifted with size and athleticism, making him a dangerous player all around. "The 6-foot-5, 210-pound McMillan looks like a rare breed on a football field. His best play brings out shades of Mike Evans" (per PFF). Currently, McMillan is the second-ranked receiver by PFF for next year's class, so PFF suggests that the Bills will either have a poor performance in 2024 and have an early draft pick, or be desperate to trade down for him.

McMillan is going into his junior season with Arizona and has already made an impact in the two seasons he's been there.

In McMillan's first year, he played 12 games and recorded 702 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. His sophomore season was sensational, recording over 1,400 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns.

The sky is the limit for McMillan as he heads into his junior year, and he could easily see himself as the number one-ranked receiver in his class.
