5 storylines to watch for New York Giants vs. Buffalo Bills in Week 6
By Brandon Ray
2.) Bills’ rushing attack is in a prime position
The Bills are coming off a bad performance running the ball against the Jaguars, only running for a total of 29 yards. Prior to Week 5, the Bills rushed for over 100 yards from Week 2 to Week 5. The running back committee of James Cook, Latavius Murray and Damien Harris are in a great position this week going up against the Giants.
The defense for the Giants just gave up 222 rushing yards against the Miami Dolphins and have given up atleast 120 rushing yards in every game this season. On average, the Giants are giving up over 150 yards per game on the ground.
The Bills have declined in rushing yards every week since Week 2, so this could be a game where the run game comes alive and allows the passing game to get going once the run is established. If the Bills’ offensive line can get to the second level for the ball carrier, look for Buffalo to keep the ball on the ground more than usual.
