The painful memories are coming back.

Heading into each NFL season, the Buffalo Bills will always have one goal and that is to raise the Lombardi Trophy in February. Buffalo has not been to the Super Bowl since the 1993 season. They are still known as the only team in the NFL to reach four consecutive Super Bowls, just to lose them all. The infamous words “wide right” still haunts Bills Mafia to this day.

Since 2020, the Bills have been fighting to get back to the Super Bowl and they almost made it in the 2020 season before running into the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game. The Bills have suffered three consecutives losses in the divisional round the last three years and are not trending in the right direction.

The 2024 season doesn’t seem to be as promising for the Bills to make it to the Super Bowl based on how their offseason played out, however anything is possible. No matter how the team looks on paper, Bills fans (atleast most of them) will be big time believers that Buffalo can win their first Super Bowl.

One believer that has been a big supporter of the Bills since 2020 is Kyle Brandt, one of the co-hosts of Good Morning Football, recently spoke on how the Bills fanbase is the most deserving fanbase that needs to experience atleast one Super Bowl. The particular segment was which “tortured” fanbase is the most deserving of a Super Bowl. The Cleveland Browns, Minnesota Vikings, and Buffalo Bills were mentioned.

Kyle Brandt couldn't be more right

The Bills Mafia has been through a lot of tough times but have never lost their passion for the Bills. Whether it was wide right, going through the playoff drought in the 2000s, and even enduring “13 seconds” against the Chiefs, Bills fans have been through pain after pain after pain.

Brandt talked about how other cities have some sort of championship, whether it is football or another sport. The Bills don’t have a championship and the Buffalo Sabres don’t have a championship either. Buffalo has only had one championship team which was the Buffalo Bandits of the National Lacrosse League.

Don’t worry Bills fans, the time will come when we hear the infamous words “the Buffalo Bills are your Super Bowl champions”.
