Who would've thought that it would take Josh Allen just three weeks after his dreadful Week 1 showing to become the MVP favorite?

After Allen's dazzling Week 4 performance against the Miami Dolphins (21-for-25, 320 yards, four touchdowns), he has moved to the favorite in the futures market to win the NFL's MVP award. Allen is ahead of Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

On the season, the Bills superstar now has nine passing touchdowns, two rushing touchdowns and 1,048 passing yards. He's been elite the last three weeks, leading the Bills to three wins by 28 or more points.

No matter how you plan on betting on the futures market, you can come out a winner at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Latest odds to win NFL MVP in 2023 season

Is Josh Allen worth a bet to win MVP?

Bettors and Bills fans may be running out of time to get Allen at a favorable price to win the league's MVP award.

The star quarterback was favored going into last season to win MVP, but he was unable to keep up with Jalen Hurts and Mahomes in the race for the award. Now, after beating Miami, Allen not only has the numbers to back up his case, but he also has an inside track to the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

The Bills are now 3-1, and they now have a head-to-head win over the Dolphins. If Allen and company win the AFC East, there is a chance the Bills end up with the No. 1 seed.

There is still a long way to go in the 2023 campaign, but Allen has four straight winnable games coming up:

  • Home (international game) against the Jacksonville Jaguars
  • Home against the New York Giants
  • Away against the New England Patriots
  • Home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Only one of those teams (Tampa Bay) is over .500, and the Bills have dominated at home in two games this season, winning both by 28 points.

Don't be shocked if Allen is able to pad his stats a little more and separate himself from the pack in the futures market.
