Josh Allen's MNF first-half dominance helps him tie career high stat

The start to this Monday Night Football game couldn't have gone any more perfect for the Buffalo Bills. Much like last week against the Miami Dolphins, the Bills have taken control of this game and have put up 34 points on the Jacksonville Jaguars going into halftime. On all three phases of the ball, the Bills have dominated the Jaguars and it hasn’t been close whatsoever.

Buffalo had the ball five times and they scored five touchdowns. The first touchdown of the game went to James Cook on a six-yard run. The rest of the touchdowns involved Josh Allen, who threw for four touchdowns to four different receivers. Dalton Kincaid, Khalil Shakir, Ty Johnson and Keon Coleman all have a receiving touchdown in this game and have helped Allen tie a career high stat.

With Allen’s four passing touchdowns in the first half, he has tied his career high for passing touchdowns in the first half in a game. The last time he threw four touchdowns in the first half was in 2022 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Josh Allen is unstoppable for the Buffalo Bills on MNF

Seeing the Bills winning this at halftime is not surprising, but the fact that they are winning by 31 points going into the second half was a stat that almost no one predicted. Buffalo’s offense looks to be near perfect in both the pass and run game. Allen is looking like his usual Superman but his decision-making has been fantastic.

Jacksonville has no answers for the Bills’ offense up to this point. However, there is a whole second half to be played. This is where Buffalo cannot let up and play it safe. They need to stay aggressive and keep their foot on the gas pedal. Let’s not forget that the Jaguars once came back down 27-0 against the Los Angeles Chargers in the playoffs at one point.

Anything is possible. Joe Brady and the offense need to keep making big plays and keeping the pressure on Trevor Lawrence to throw the ball more and make more mistakes.
