For the second straight week, the Jacksonville Jaguars will have an early start in London.

Last week, the team defeated the Atlanta Falcons, but it has a much tougher task against the 3-1 Buffalo Bills in Week 5.

Buffalo has won three straight games by 28 or more points, absolutely dominating the Miami Dolphins in Week 4 to take control of the AFC East lead. The Bills are also getting some terrific play from Josh Allen, who is now the consensus favorite to win the league's MVP award.

The Jaguars have gotten off to a slow start, losing two early games before getting back to .500 in Week 4. Can Trevor Lawrence and company pull off the upset across the pond?

Oddsmakers don’t seem to think so, setting the Bills as a 5.5-point favorite.

Jaguars vs. Bills key players to watch

Jacksonville Jaguars

Trevor Lawrence: It hasn’t been a great start to the season for Trevor Lawrence, as he has been one of the worst quarterbacks in terms of EPA/Play this season.

This is a moment for him to show he can compete with one of the game’s best in Allen.

Buffalo Bills

Josh Allen: The MVP favorite, Allen had five total touchdowns in Week 4 and is looking to build on that against an average Jacksonville defense. A strong showing would further him as the favorite for MVP.

Von Miller (if he plays): Miller started this season on the PUP list, but he is resuming practicing. If he plays, he’d be a massive boost to this Buffalo pass rush.

Jaguars vs. Bills prediction and pick

This is one of the better matchups in Week 5, but I still think the Bills can win this game going away.

Buffalo has been dominant the last few weeks, and the Jaguars haven’t really gotten things going on offense – needing a defensive touchdown to pull away from Atlanta last week.

Since losing in Week 1, Buffalo has easily covered the spread in three straight games, winning those games by a combined 90 points.

I am a little concerned about Buffalo’s league-worst run defense, but it held Raheem Mostert to just nine yards on seven carries in Week 3. Those numbers may be a little inflated by a 55-yard run from De’Von Achane that pushed him over 100 yards on the day.

After watching Jacksonville struggle to score the first four weeks, I think the Bills are the right bet in this game.
