Buffalo Bills select WR with second round pick: Javon Baker
The final scenario is if the Bills wait until their second-round pick at 60th overall to address the wide receiver position if they go with another position for their first-round pick.
If the focus for the Bills is to find players with size but more importantly the ability to get over the top of the defense and track down deep throws, then Javon Baker is an excellent pick late in the second round. He began his college career playing at Alabama but his production was limited with only nine receptions for 116 yards and one touchdown. He would end up transferring to UCF prior to the 2022 season and had an excellent final two seasons at the collegiate level.
Baker had two excellent seasons with 1,935 receiving yards, an average of 17.9 yards per reception, and 12 receiving touchdowns. The Bills would have to be patient with Baker as he likely doesn't step in as a starter right away but as the season goes along he could have his role grow and be a factor in the later months and hopefully into the playoffs.
