Gabe Davis entering a pivotal season with the Buffalo Bills

Buffalo Bills fourth-year wide receiver Gabe Davis has turned some heads during his young career so far.

The 22-year old UCF alum was drafted in the fourth round and was expected to be a big body in the red zone. Davis had shown flashes of his sky-high potential in his rookie year when listed as a depth option behind receivers like John Brown, Stefon Diggs, Isaiah McKenzie, and Cole Beasley.

Although, Davis exceeded expectations as a rookie. He would show off his athleticism and great catching ability, and he would do that with his first career touchdown reception against the Miami Dolphins.

Davis would continue to show flashes in other notable games from that year, such as his third career NFL game against the LA Rams, where he would catch four passes for 81 yards, and able to draw a crucial pass interference call to help the Bills win 35-32.

Other notable games would include his 71 yard, one touchdown performance against the Chargers, which had a miraculous 44-yard contested catch early in the fourth. Then his two catch, 109 yard performance in their second game against the Dolphins in the Bills' last regular season game.

After that year, Davis would finish his rookie season with an impressive 599 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.

Davis was able to show off his highlight reel catches, along with his speed, 6'2" stature, and 32-and-a-half-inch arms, and prove that he can be a legit deep threat. Although the question was, can he build off his rookie year and become a reliable option for his franchise quarterback?
