When the Buffalo Bills drafted cornerback Tre’Davious White in 2017, they acquired a shutdown corner who quickly became one of the elite corners across the league. Coming out of LSU, White was going into the perfect scheme with Sean McDermott and Leslie Frazier calling the defense. His impactful play earned him votes for Defensive Rookie of the Year and became an All-Pro lockdown corner in his first four seasons in Buffalo.

While the first four seasons with the Bills were a major success, White’s performance came down hard with two season-ending injuries in 2021 (torn ACL) and 2023 (torn achilles). He has not been the same since 2020 and it ultimately led to him being released by the Bills this offseason. White would sign with the Los Angeles Rams on a one-year deal in hopes to revive his career.

The Rams are set to host the Bills in Week 14 at SoFi Stadium in which White will take on his old team. He should know just how good the Bills offense can be with Josh Allen. At the same time, the offense looks different at wide receiver. Instead of lining up against Stefon Diggs or Gabe Davis, White will be taking on guys like Keon Coleman and Curtis Samuel.

White recently sat down with Kay Adams and briefly discussed the Bills going to LA this season and how he wants to just win. Adams would then mention White intercepting Josh Allen, in which White responded with a funny quote about how the Bills would “cheer for him” if that scenario were to happen.

Rams vs Bills will be a must watch

The last time the Rams and the Bills faced off against each other in 2022, Buffalo walked into LA and dominated the Rams, winning 31-10. White was not part of that game as he was still recovering from his torn ACL the year prior. Now he is on the other side and will be looking to help take down the Bills.

This could be White’s last true opportunity to solidify himself as a top corner in the league. With having two major injuries the last three seasons, White has a lot of pressure on him this season. When Buffalo heads to LA, Bills fans can expect White to be challenged by Allen and the pass attack.
