The first round of the 2024 NFL Draft is officially here and tonight kicks off the big three-day event for the Buffalo Bills. Entering the 2024 NFL Draft, the Bills have 10 draft picks however eight of those picks are on Day 3 with the Bills having one pick in the first round and one pick in the second round.

While there are some clear needs for the roster, particularly at wide receiver, general manager Brandon Beane has some flexibility early to go best player available. He has been a general manager who is more than willing to move around the NFL Draft and has made a trade in the first round in four of the six NFL Drafts he has led for the Bills.

That is the case once again in this final mock draft, with the help of the Mock Draft Simulator on Pro Football Network. While there are reports that he wants to move up, that doesn't materialize and in fact he moves out of the first round.

Buffalo Bills trade back, pick up another 2025 second round pick

Bills receive: Pick 48, Pick 96, 2025 second round pick
Jaguars receiver: Pick 28, Pick 248

The Buffalo Bills are looking for a true number one wide receiver for their offense to replace Stefon Diggs. However, outside of the Top 3, there are no clear-cut answers to fill that role, and for a team that still has Super Bowl aspirations they may want a veteran receiver to be that answer.

Unfortunately, that won't be an option until after June 1st once the cap space gained from releasing Tre'Davious White is officially available. That is why this offer from the Jacksonville Jaguars was appealing as it gives them another second-round pick in 2025, and now three in total, which would make them feel a little more comfortable offering the 2025 first-round pick if that is what is needed to get a deal done for a player like Brandon Aiyuk.
