Fantasy Football: Stock Report for the Buffalo Bills after 2023 NFL Draft
With the 2023 NFL Draft completed, many dynasty leagues have begun their rookie drafts or startup draft for new leagues. This is a time when fantasy football managers are looking at which rookies to draft but also a time to complete trades for veterans.
The Buffalo Bills have one of the top offenses in the league and seemingly got better with the additions of Dalton Kincaid, O'Cyrus Torrence, Connor McGovern and Damien Harris this offseason. With a majority of the free agent moves done and the NFL Draft over, let's take a look at which players on the Buffalo Bills have seen their stock go up or down heading into the 2023 season.
Fantasy football stock report for the Buffalo Bills after the 2023 NFL Draft
Josh Allen
For the past three years, Josh Allen has been one of the best quarterbacks in fantasy football. After finishing first in scoring in 2020 and 2021, he slipped a bit but not far as he finished second and only behind Patrick Mahomes, according to FantasyPros.
One of the big reasons why he has been near the top at his position is because of the rushing ability he brings. This past season, Allen had 762 rushing yards and seven rushing touchdowns and he continued a streak of having at least six rushing touchdowns every season in the NFL.
Unfortunately, that rushing production could be decreasing as Josh Allen himself has even discussed this offseason about being smarter about when he runs the ball and the hits he takes.
While points from running the ball could decrease, this creates more of an opportunity to throw a lot more and be more productive as a passer. The Buffalo Bills this offseason improved the offensive line with the additions at guard along with adding the best catching tight end in the draft in Dalton Kincaid.
In the end, I think Josh Allen's stock remains unchanged which is not a bad thing as he is either the best or second best quarterback in fantasy football and one of the best quarterbacks to draft or trade for in dynasty leagues.
