Trade Away: Josh Allen

This one might be a surprise as Josh Allen is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL and fantasy football. He has finished near the top of the league over the past three seasons and should once again finish in a similar spot in 2023.

If your team is expected to compete for a league championship this year, it doesn't make much sense to trade him away.

However, if your team is in the middle of the pack, or even in a rebuild, this is now the time to trade him. One of the reasons that Josh Allen has been one of the best quarterbacks in fantasy football is because of his rushing ability.

Each season in the NFL, Josh Allen has had at least six rushing touchdowns and in the past two years, he has had over 760 rushing yards. However, the focus this offseason appears to be around cutting back on the running with Josh Allen even mentioning it himself.

While this part of his game won't go away completely, if his rushing attempts are significantly reduced then this will lower his fantasy points. Without the rushing stats, his value will drop and it is hard to imagine he could bring a greater return in a trade than right now.
