2.) James Cook - Sit

The second year running back has been a great contributor for the Buffalo offense through the last three weeks. Last week, he was able to find the endzone for the first time this season against the Dolphins.

This season, James Cook is averaging 11.77 points per week, with his most amount being in Week 2 against the Las Vegas Raiders with 15.90 after rushing for 123 rushing yards. Going up against Jacksonville, the Jaguars have allowed over 100+ rushing yards twice this year, but have only given up one 100+ yard rusher in a game, Bijan Robinson. As good as Cook has been, he has not shown the ability to be a true difference maker like Robinson has.

The Bills have been able to control the clock against their opponents the last three weeks, and part of the reason why is because they have established a true run-attack. With the Bills facing a Jaguars’ offense that could throw it against a weaker Bills’ secondary and potentially put points up on the board, Cook might be limited in the run game and only have a real chance to be a difference maker as a security blanket for Allen. It is best to put Cook on the bench.
