Early look at five 2025 NFL Draft prospects Bills should be watching
Malaki Starks — Safety, Georgia
Back to the defensive backfield.
Widely considered the best safety in the 2025 class, Starks would be a day-one starter for a Bills secondary that is rebuilding after the departures of Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer. And while the Bills drafted Cole Bishop in the second-round of this past draft, adding a premier safety prospect to be his future partner would be a steal.
Starks has the perfect athletic profile to be an elite safety at the NFL level. At 6'1", 205 pounds, Starks is effective at both man and zone coverage, while also possessing an outstanding tackling ability. In two years as a starter for the Bulldogs, Starks has amassed 120 tackles and five interceptions.
Look for the All-American to explode for Georgia this season, and potentially be the Bills next superstar safety. The play you see above is from Starks opening game as a true freshman at 18 years old, he's a freak athlete who's going to be a Sunday guy for year's to come.
Hopefully it's in blue and red.
