With DeAndre Hopkins to the Titans, who could the Buffalo Bills still sign at wide receiver?

3.) Kenny Golladay

In recent memory, Kenny Golladay was one of the worst free agent signings when he went from Detroit to New York back in 2021. If you take the last two years and remove it, Golladay was a productive receiver in Detroit. From 2017-2020 with the Lions, Golladay averaged above 15 yards per reception, went over 1,000 receiving yards twice in four seasons and put up 21 receiving touchdowns. When Golladay signed a four-year, $72 million deal with the Giants, things went downhill instantly. In two seasons with the Giants, Golladay only managed to put up 602 receiving yards and one touchdown. Yes, you read that right…one touchdown in two seasons. To make things a little bit worse, Golladay also never played a full season with the Giants which hurt his reliability.

I’m not saying that Golladay would put the Bills over the top, but Golladay was once a dominant receiver in Detroit because he had a quarterback in Matthew Stafford. Adding Golladay to the Bills to pair with Josh Allen could revive his career. With his lack of production the last two seasons, Golladay more than likely would not be expensive and there would not need to be a long-term commitment right off the bat. Another plus to a potential pairing; Golladay does not need to be the number one receiver on the Bills, or even the number two option. Golladay would be a big-bodied receiver that can help open up the field for Allen and the offense.
