Colin Cowherd's message about Bills proves Super Bowl appearance is highly likely
By Brandon Ray
Now that the Buffalo Bills have won their first two games of the season, they are being mentioned in the Super Bowl conversation once again. It’s funny how leading up to the season, there were very few believers in the Bills. Now they have put the league on notice with a comeback victory in Week 1 and an all-out dominant performance in Week 2.
Outside of Josh Allen and maybe Dalton Kincaid, the rest of the roster was not getting any credit from anyone outside of Bills fans. However, the notice is starting to happen now as an entire team. It may be just two games, but the Bills have shown that if they continue to play the way they have these last two games, they can become an unstoppable team.
Colin Cowherd from “The Herd” talked about the Buffalo Bills and their 31-10 victory over the Miami Dolphins and how they are “the Buffalo Bills that can win a Super Bowl.” Cowherd went on to talk about how the Bills played a certain style of football that could lead them to the promiseland.
Not being Josh Allen-reliant puts Buffalo Bills in Super Bowl-favorites category
Cowherd discussed how if the Bills are able to do some damage without having Josh Allen leading the way, it makes them even more special as a team. While the Bills needed heroic play from Allen in Week 1 against the Cardinals, he was only part of one of the four touchdowns against the Dolphins.
It was the James Cook show, down in Miami as well as the defense stopping the Dolphins’ high-powered offense. If this Bills team can keep rolling and Allen has more help each week, Buffalo may just end up surprising everyone by the time February comes around.
Now the Bills will have their first big test in Week 3, but they will have over a week to prepare. The Jacksonville Jaguars are coming into town, they could realistically be a team that Buffalo sees in the playoffs so it will be crucial for them to take advantage of the home-field presence.
Like it has been said before, the Bills’ main goal each week is to go 1-0. They cannot worry about the outside noise, whether it is good or bad. They need to take advantage of the longer buildup to Week 3 after coming off a quick turnaround week on the road.
