Defensive Line

The Buffalo Bills won in the trenches on both sides of the ball and the best stat of the entire game might be -2. That is the total rushing yards of Josh Jacobs, who led the league last year in rushing yards.

This was going to be a key to the game, especially after the success that Breece Hall had on Monday night in Week 1. However, it was a dominant performance starting on the interior of the line with DaQuan Jones and Ed Oliver.

While the Bills didn't record any sacks (although a case could be made that Greg Rousseau's tackle in the first half should have been), the pass rush still made their presence known. The challenge was that Jimmy Garoppolo was throwing quick passes and screens that limited their impact but even then made plays, like Rousseau's tipped pass that led to the first interception.
