3.) New York Jets (3-3) - win vs. Philadelphia Eagles, 20-14
Being down both starting cornerbacks in the secondary, the Jets came in as underdogs against an incoming 5-0 Eagles squad. However, Robert Salah and the Jets shocked the NFL with a statement victory over one of the last two remaining undefeated teams. The Jets’ defense made life miserable for Jalen Hurts, causing three interceptions, as well as forcing a fumble from running back D’Andre Swift.
Despite the Eagles having more sacks (Haason Reddick with 2.5), a minute more of time of possession, and 104 more yards gained, the turnover battle was the difference maker in this game and it favored the Jets. In addition, the Eagles also scored more touchdowns than the Jets which goes to show that turnovers is what cost the Philadelphia their undefeated record.
The Jets are sitting at .500, the first time Week 2 and will take on the other New Jersey team in the Giants next week.
