1.) New York Jets - won vs. Buffalo Bills, 22-16 in overtime

The moment finally arrived for Jets fans when they saw their new quarterback Aaron Rodgers run out of the tunnel with the American flag and MetLife was loud as all can be. They had one of the best defenses returning from last season, the Offensive Rookie of the Year last season in Garrett Wilson, Breece Hall was coming back to pair with Dalvin Cook, and now they had a better quarterback upgrade in Rodgers.

After just four plays and no passing yards, Rodgers would be knocked out of the game after being sacked by Bills’ defensive end Leonard Floyd and would be ruled out due to an ankle injury. Zach Wilson has now returned as the Jets’ starter, in which he was named the Jets’ starting quarterback from here on out per Robert Saleh

However, it was not Wilson that the Bills needed to worry about…it was the running game led by Hall who ran for 127 yards off of 10 carries and a ferocious defense that had four takeaways and was dominating the line of scrimmage. The Bills’ offense could not get anything going and it was the Jets’ defense that kept them in the game and ultimately led them to victory in overtime.

Even though the Jets won this game, they really lost because now they will have to change their offense under Wilson as the starter moving forward.
