3.) New York Jets (3-3) - Bye Week - Will face the New York Giants in Week 8.

2.) Buffalo Bills (4-3) - loss vs. New England Patriots, 25-29

Make this the third consecutive week where the offense for Buffalo doesn’t come alive until later in the game. The first play for the offense resulted in an immediate interception thrown by Josh Allen, and the Bills would only manage to put up 3 points going into halftime.

In the third quarter, James Cook got the Bills their first touchdown of the game to bring life back for Buffalo. Throughout the second half, the Bills managed to make some great plays like Latavius Murray catching a short dump off pass on 3rd-and-17 and bulldozing his way for a first down. Then there were plays where instead of attempting a 50 yard field goal on fourth down, the Bills go for it and Dawson Knox (who had one catch for 10 yards), drops a crucial pass that ultimately would have put the Bills within 3 points rather than a touchdown.

The defense for Buffalo broke after only bending in the first half. While they were able to keep the Patriots under 100 rushing yards, they allowed 4 yards a carry and let Mac Jones feast on them. After a late comeback to take a 3 point lead, the Bills’ defense crumbled on the last New England drive and let up a Mike Gesicki game-winning touchdown.

Buffalo looks lost and beaten down through three weeks, which is concerning seeing as going into the fourth quarter in the last three games, they have scored a combined 21 points. In Week 4 before this three week stretch, the Bills put up 21 points through the first 20 minutes against the Miami Dolphins.

The Bills are on a short week heading into a Thursday night game, but will be back at home where they have yet to lose, and will take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
