Buffalo Bills sign Linval Joseph

Around the same time the Buffalo Bills signed Leonard Fournette, they also signed veteran defensive tackle Linval Joseph. The Bills were looking for a defensive tackle who could replace the injured DaQuan Jones and be a force on the interior of the defensive line.

Even at 35 years old, Linval Joseph has been able to provide that and more to this defense. He would end up playing 30 snaps against the Cincinnati Bengals, less than a week after being signed. Joseph has remained a key part of the rotation every week since and played at least 30% or more defensive snaps in three of the four games.

The stats for his position don't tell the whole story of the impact he makes as he helps stop offensive linemen from moving to the second and third level on run plays. This helps linebackers like Terrel Bernard move quickly to the ball carrier and make a stop.

Of the three moves made during the season, this has been the most impactful.
