DT Quinnen Williams - New York Jets

It was very difficult to decide between Quinnen Williams and cornerback Sauce Gardner. However, the deciding factor was that since Sean McDermott took over the head coaching position, the Buffalo secondary has been one of the best in the league. Last year proved it when the Bills were hit with multiple injuries on defense last year. When it comes to Williams, adding another big time defensive tackle to plug into the defensive line with Ed Oliver would make lives very difficult for offensive lines.

In the 2019 NFL Draft, the two top defensive tackles in Quinnen Williams and Ed Oliver were highly viewed as immediate impactful players. Williams was drafted #3 overall to the New York Jets and Oliver fell right into the Bills’ lap at #9 overall. Williams has been an excellent run-stopper for the Jets who can create an interior pass rush. He had a career high in total tackles (62) and had 5.5 sacks.

The Bills were in the middle of the pack in terms of stopping the run last season, but heavily struggled in the first six weeks of the year. Putting Williams into this Bills defense would be a perfect addition as the Bills already have Oliver who had a career year last season. The two young defensive tackles would be a wrecking crew for the foreseeable future.
