The AFC East is one of the most unpredictable divisions in football heading into 2024. There is no clear cut favorite to win the division and the Buffalo Bills could be in trouble of not winning the AFC East for the first time since 2020. They won five consecutive games last season to steal the division away from the Miami Dolphins, but they cannot afford to be in a position where they need to win out and hope that the Dolphins have a complete meltdown again.
Imagine a scenario where the Bills could take one player from each AFC East rival. They would be able to address some key needs and add some of the best talent in the game. The Bills already have a solid roster as compared to other teams in the league, but there is always room for improvement.
Here are the three AFC East players the Bills would take within the division.
WR Tyreek Hill - Miami Dolphins
If you do not think that the combo of Josh Allen and Tyreek Hill would be the best QB-WR duo in the league, you may not watch enough football. Buffalo has a new wide receiver room heading into this season now that Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis are no longer with the team.
Hill was on his way to a historic year with the Dolphins last season and had he not been injured in Week 14 and missed Week 15 against the New York Jets, there is a great chance that Hill would reached over 2,000 receiving yards. He would finish 2023 with 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns.
With the uncertainty of what the Bills’ wide receiver room will be in 2024, adding Hill to pair with Keon Coleman, Khalil Shakir and Curtis Samuel would be a perfect fit into Joe Brady’s offense.
