3. Defensive Tackle

Last year, the defensive tackle position was one of the deepest on the roster with a four-man rotation of DaQuan Jones, Ed Oliver, Jordan Phillips, and Tim Settle. That depth was tested most of the season as all four would miss at least one game during the season.

This season, the Buffalo Bills have brought back all four but have added to the position by signing Poona Ford. He is a big defensive tackle that should rotate with DaQuan Jones and even take some of his snaps in hopes of keeping fresh over the entire season.

The question is will the team keep all five defensive tackles this season? In the past, the Bills have only had four defensive tackles on their 53-man roster, and if they keep that trend then a player like Jordan Phillips could be on the roster bubble and fighting for a spot.
