The wide receiver position for the Buffalo Bills has been a consistent talking point this offseason. It started with the potential to sign Odell Beckham Jr. or DeAndre Hopkins to replace Gabe Davis in the starting lineup. Neither move happened and it looks like Davis is in line to remain the starter for the second year.
Then there was the minicamp drama around Stefon Diggs, as he was not in attendance for the first day of mandatory minicamp. However, Sean McDermott later said that he was excused for that practice but he was there for the second day. The hope is that this is something behind the team as Diggs is a key part of this offense and one of the best wide receivers in the league.
The only big change is at slot receiver as the Bills released Isaiah McKenzie, who was the starter for the majority of the year, and haven't re-signed Cole Beasley, who was signed later in the season. While Dalton Kincaid does look to be a factor here, the Bills have some other options to step in as slot receiver.
