Buffalo Bills Rumors: Von Miller renegotiates contract and helps Buffalo clear over $8 million in cap space

There is no question that Von Miller had a disappointing season with the Buffalo Bills in 2023. The veteran pass rusher was coming off a torn ACL in 2022 and did not look like the same player with no sacks in 11 games.

According to ESPN's Field Yates, the Bills and Miller were able to agree to a renegotiated contract that lowered the base salary and also created $8.645 million in cap space.

This is best case scenario for the Buffalo Bills as it seemed unlikely that they would be able to release him this offseason. However, they now get some cap relief for this season but also gives them a chance to see how Von Miller looks during training camp and into the preseason before they make a final decision if he is on the 2024 roster.
