Washington Commanders will start their 10th different quarterback against the Buffalo Bills

While the Buffalo Bills clearly have their franchise quarterback in Josh Allen, the Washington franchise hasn't been as lucky. This will be the 10th time Washington has played the Bills since 1993 and according to Sal Capaccio at WGR550, this will be the 10th different quarterback starting against Buffalo.

it is a rather remarkable list and shows how much they have struggled at a key position. The last time the Bills played Washington was in 2021at home with Taylor Heinicke making only his third career start.

The Bills defense dominated the game as Heinicke would only throw for 212 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. The matchup on Sunday once again has Buffalo facing an inexperienced quarterback in Sam Howell, who will only be making his fourth career start.

Howell has gotten off to a good start but the Buffalo Bills defense is the best he has seen this season. It will be interesting to see how much pressure the defense can get on Howell and if they can force him into some mistakes.
