Buffalo Bills: 5 players who need to step up in Week 6 against the Giants

3.) Deonte Harty
The speedy slot receiver who is utilized more of a gadget player could see some increased playing time this Sunday. Head coach Sean McDermott noted that both tight ends Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Know are dealing with injuries of their own. This now puts the security blanket of Josh Allen in a tricky situation.
While a player like second-year wideout Khalil Shakir could benefit in the passing game, this can also open the door for opportunities for Harty, should one or both tight ends have setbacks this week.
Harty has yet to display the full speed that he showed while he was with the New Orleans Saints. He was brought in to replace former Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie, but has yet to make a big impact with the offense.
His arguably best play took place in the Miami game where he had a dump off pass, was hit, but then bounced back, and dove for a Buffalo first down. If Kincaid and/or Knox are limited or even out this Sunday, look for Harty to be an under-the-radar type of player for this Bills offense.
