Buffalo Bills: Josh Allen looks to get first career win vs. Eagles

Buffalo Bills' quarterback Josh Allen has accomplished a lot in his six year career with the Bills. He has led them to three consecutive division championships from 2020-2022, became the youngest players to score the most total touchdowns in the first six years of his career, and has even brought the Bills to a conference championship game. There is no doubt that Allen has done so much for himself as well as Bills' organization.

Going into Week 12 in Philadelphia, Allen has the opportunity to get his first win against the Eagles in his career. This will be the second time that Allen has faced the Eagles. In his first career game against Philadelphia, the Bills lost 31-13 in 2019 in Buffalo. In that game, Allen completed just 47% of his throws, but managed to throw two touchdowns as well. On the other hand, he also fumbled three times, losing one of them and was sacked 4 times. It was an overall bad game by Allen in their last meeting.

The Eagles come into this game as the overall best team in the NFL (9-1), while the Bills (6-5) come in looking in from the outside in the AFC playoff picture. The Eagles are coming off a win against the Kansas City Chiefs, coming back from a 17-7 deficit to win 21-17, while the Bills crushed the New York Jets 32-6, after two consecutive losses on primetime to the Cincinnati Bengals and Denver Broncos.

Under new interim offensive coordinator Joe Brady, Allen looked like his old self against the Jets. Making the correct reads and not overthinking the play. In 2019 when he played against the Eagles, he was only a second-year quarterback with so much to learn. He has come a long way since then. He will now walk into Philadelphia looking to get the win before going into the bye week in Week 13.
